David Gage, Ph.D.

David Gage, Ph.D., Principal, is a leader in the field of business mediation and the founder of BMC Associates. Dr. Gage has over 25 years of experience as a mediator and 30 years of experience as a clinical psychologist. He has assisted partners from many different industries in resolving all types of disputes. Dr. Gage is an adjunct professor in American University's business school. His book on effective partnerships, The Partnership Charter: How To Start Out Right With Your New Business Partnership (Or Fix The One You're In), was published in July of 2004.

Donna Hart Gage, Principal

After taking a two-year leave from BMC to serve as the Chief Nursing Officer at the VA’s headquarters in Washington DC from 2014-2016, Donna is working again with BMC Associates. At the Veterans Health Administration, Donna oversaw more than 90,000 nursing service personnel in the country’s largest integrated health care system with over 1,700 facilities. A nursing executive with more than 25 years of experience, she is a transformational leader who has collaborated with all disciplines to create supportive professional practice environments. Besides mediating with BMC’s clients around the country, in Canada, and by video conference with partners around the world, Donna’s consults to nursing executives on issues related to hospital and nursing leadership, union relations, operations and strategy.

Mark Sirkin, Ph.D.
Disciplines: Mediator, Organizational Consultant and Clinical Psychologist
Mark Sirkin is a management consultant specializing in executive development, mediation, coaching, and organizational change. He is well known in the consulting field for his expertise with family-owned enterprises and closely-held businesses and partnerships, including law firms. He is a senior board-level advisor to several companies. He has completed post-doctoral work in organizational consulting and is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA).

Virginia McArthur

Ginny McArthur is a estate planning lawyer who in 1992 founded the estate planning boutique law firm now known as McArthur Franklin PLLC. The firm represents high net worth individuals, as well as those with more modest estates, in estate and gift tax planning, trust and estate administration, charitable planning, and probate. Ginny has written and spoken to lawyers and lay people on estate planning and administration topics. For over 20 years she co-authored Wills, Trusts and Estates for the D.C. Area Practitioner, an annually updated treatise on estate planning practice in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. She teaches and has taught on estate planning topics and on ethical issues in estate planning.

Eileen Barker, J.D.
Discipline: Mediator
Eileen, founder of Barker Mediation in the San Francisco Bay Area, is a full-time mediator whose practice draws on over 25 years of experience in law and dispute resolution and hundreds of hours of specialized training. Since 1991, Eileen has successfully mediated hundreds of cases in a wide range of areas including commercial, partnerships, employment, real estate, personal injury, insurance, probate, and family/divorce. She has also served as an arbitrator, discovery referee, and neutral evaluator in numerous matters. Eileen has served on mediation panels and provided services for courts, private organizations, and government agencies.

Organizational psychologist, consultant, executive coach, writer, and speaker on workplace dynamics for the past 30 years, Marc Sokol has worked with leaders and companies in 25 countries, across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa.  Marc has worked in large and small companies, in public and private sector, and has been adjunct faculty in both a psychology and management departments at leading universities.

Susan Coleman is a partner at C Global Consulting LLC in New York City and a global consultant with close to three decades of experience building collaboration in organizations and systems. Her practice combines the ability to create and deliver world-acclaimed workshops and seminars, with skill in designing large or small system interventions to promote collaboration, improve organizational performance and resolve conflict.
